Whites (2 of each)
DAVENPORT, EAST SUSSEX - 2018 HORSMONDEN
Bacchus, Ortega, Siegerrebe, Faberrebe and Huxelrebe. Bone dry with aromatic peach and floral fruit and a background of yeasty flavour with a soft broad palate - a wine with real structure which can be drunk now or kept for a couple of years.
LA CAVE DU VIN BLANC DE MORGEX ET DE LA SALLE, VALLE D'AOSTA - 2018 RAYON
100% Prié biotype Blanc de Morgex. A straw-yellow colour, with pale green nuances, its aromas evoke mountain herbs with notes of fresh hay. Further notes of lemon, almond apple and peach also fight for attention on the nose. The palate tracks these aromas but the crisp acidity is balanced with intense flavours. The finish is persistent with lingering flavours of pear and citrus.

CHATEAU TOUR DES GENDRES, BERGERAC - 2018 PET-NAT
Sauvignon Blanc and Chenin Blanc. A deliciously ripe pet-nat with flavours of pear, apple and citrus.
Reds (2 of each)
FRENTANO, ABRUZZO - 2017 MONTEPULCIANO D'ABRUZZO
100% Montepulciano. Plum-skin fruit allied to leathery warmth with an all-over chocolate finish. Montepulciano that is not afraid to be big and bold.
DOMAINE LAPIERRE, BEAUJOLAIS - 2018 RAISINS GAULOIS
100% Gamay. Ruby in colour and packed with dried cranberry and red currant fruit. This is a lovely, refreshing grapey gamay with lively acidity.
PLAIMONT PRODUCTEURS, COTES DE GASCOGNE - 2017 LES TROIS FONTAINES
50% Cabernet Sauvignon with 34% Merlot and 16% Tannat. It can be drunk as an aperitif or goes perfectly with barbecued meats, or with the local South-West France soup called ‘Garbure’ (a cabbage and vegetable soup with cuts of meat such as confit of duck or chunks of pork, can also be paired with platters of Gascon charcuterie. Pure joy!
