THE POWER OF THREE
THE POWER OF THREE

This seasonally rotating, 3 bottle case, aims to highlight some of the gems in our portfolio that may get overlooked. It will always contain wines that we have drunk and enjoyed recently, and deemed worthy of wider attention. Our autumn installment features 2 utterly charming French reds and a Sauvignon Blanc (trust me!) from the arid Atacama desert. The latter is as tensile as a Chablis, as oily as a Muscadet and as salty as a sherry. It's a wine that deserves to be tried with an open mind and ideally a plate of oysters.

TARA, SAUVIGNON BLANC, ATACAMA, CHILE, 2022, 13%
100% Sauvignon Blanc
The nose is mineral with aromas of wet stones, freshly mown grass, and subtle notes of blossom. The mouth is structured and tense and its texture and definition have been enhanced by the lees. With its very long finish, this wine reveals all the character of the Atacama Desert.

DOMAINE MOSSE, BANGARANG, ST LAMBERT DU LATTAY. LOIRE, 2024, 10.5%
40% Pineau d'Aunis 40% Grolleau Noir 20% Cabernet Franc
Lively, juicy, vivacious, delicious... Serve chilled at any time of year with cold cuts and antipasti. Or as a dangerously gluggable aperitif.

THIERRY NAVARRE, RIBEYRENC, ROQUEBRUN, LANGUEDOC, 2024, 12%
100% Ribeyrenc
This wine is a masterclass in restraint and honesty. Delicate herbal aromas of violets, tea rose and hibiscus with the prettiest of pale garnet colours. Ribeyrenc was once the most widely planted grape in the Languedoc, it's now down to a dozen or so hectares, of which Thierry nurtures a few.
