Lapeyre, Evidencia,Jurancon, France, 2021
Petit Manseng, Gros Manseng, Courbu and Camaralet

Complex and rich yet dry white from the steep foothills of the Pyrenees. The fruit comes from the prized Vitatge Viehl vineyard and benefits from a lengthy growing season. The farming is organic and biodynamic and the wine is aged in old oak before assemblage. The wine displays an explosion of peach, apple and pear fruit, knitted together with the electric acidity for which Jurancon is famed.

Jauma, Like Raindrops Grenache, Mclaren Vale, Australia, 2021
100% Grenache

A highly perfumed bouquet evokes smoky raspberry, mulberry, candied rose and spice-cake. Seamless and sweet, with energetic red berry compote flavours and an exotic floral pastille quality. Gains richness and spiciness with air and finishes very long.

Arretxea, Irouleguy Rouge, South West France, 2021
66% Tannat, 17 % Cabernet Franc, 17% Cabernet Sauvignon

An unoaked, yet dense expression of the Pyrenees. Savoury and brooding this is still an elegant wine, with notes of forest fruits and the forest floor. Its tannin and structure lend itself to peppery stews, cassoulets or duck tagine. Organic and biodynamic.

A Los Vinateros Bravos, Las Curvas, Itata, Chile, 2019
100% Cinsault

An amazing vineyard comprising old bush-vines, planted on their own roots, on a soil of granite and quartz. The wine is terroir driven and muscular, with concentrated old vine character. It goes beautifully with char grilled steak or even Findus Beef Crispy Pancakes (try it!). Truly, one of the overlooked gems in our portfolio.

San Lorenzo, Le Oche, Marche, Italy, 2021
100% Verdicchio

After an ambient ferment in cement for 60 days, Le Oche is then aged for 12 months on the lees and a further 6 months in bottle. This produces a generous, opulent wine; straw yellow, with fruity and floral aromas and notes of acacia, pear, almonds, elderflower and lime. The palate is fresh, soft, balanced and persistent. Biodynamic and organic.

Dupraz, En Route Pour L'Apero, Le Reposoir, Apremont, Savoie, France, 2022
100% Jacquère

A homage to the grape Jacquere; the king of the aperitif! This wine is crisp and refreshing packed full of fleshy pear and apple fruit. It has some weight courtesy of  malolactic fermentation (which occurs naturally) but the fruit is pristine and refreshing. Try with tartiflette and, of course, raclette
